Description

A delicious dessert that requires no baking and no special cooking skills. This homemade milk soufflé is a perfect choice for breakfast or afternoon snack, and children are always especially happy to have such sweets.

Instructions

    Step 1

    1. First, soak the gelatin so it can swell. This process takes about 15 minutes. Be sure to use boiled water for soaking.

    2. Then separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat the yolks with sugar. Transfer the mixture to a container and place it over a water bath. Then add the milk and cook, stirring constantly, to prevent the mixture from burning.

    3. Remove from heat and add the swollen gelatin. Mix thoroughly and beat the mixture until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Let the mixture cool.

    4. While cooling, sieve the cottage cheese. Add sour cream and mix.

    5. Now add the candied fruits. Cut them if necessary—the smaller, the better. Do not add raisins, as they are somewhat heavy and may sink in the soufflé. Add the egg-milk mixture to the cooled mass.

    6. Mix everything and let it stand. Meanwhile, prepare the molds.

    7. Moisten the molds with cold water. Then distribute the soufflé into the molds and place in the refrigerator. This quantity yields 12 soufflés.

    8. These are the beautiful little soufflés I ended up with. They set in the refrigerator in a few hours and are then ready to eat. Serve them on a small plate, and if desired, they can be decorated with anything you like: candied fruits, chocolate, mint, etc.
