
Pike-perch baked with mushrooms
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Pike-perch goes perfectly with mushrooms. They complement the fish not only with their rich flavor but also with a pleasant aroma. Baked in the oven, the fish turns out to be not only delicious but also healthy, while cream and fresh herbs add extra flavor. This fish can be served with a vegetable side dish or mashed potatoes, or it can be enjoyed on its own. The finished dish can now be served at the table.

1. I wash the pike-perch carcass and dry it thoroughly, then cut it into pieces, season with ground pepper and salt. I grease the baking dish with vegetable oil and arrange the fish pieces in a single layer.

2. Peel and wash the onion, then slice it into half-rings. Clean and wash the mushrooms, then cut them into large pieces. Heat a frying pan with butter and vegetable oil, first sauté the onion, then add the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes.

3. Pour the cream into the pan with the mushrooms and onions, mix and heat for a couple of minutes. Spread the resulting mixture over the fish. Place the dish in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 20 minutes.

4. I wash the parsley and finely chop it, grate the cheese on a fine grater. I take the dish out of the oven, sprinkle it first with parsley, then with hard cheese, and bake for another 10 minutes. I transfer the ready fish onto a plate and serve.
