Pike-perch with vegetables
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I highly, highly recommend you try this new way of cooking pike-perch with vegetables! The fish turns out tender and juicy, while the vegetables impart their flavor and aroma to the meat. If you're watching your figure—steam the fish without adding a drop of oil. Prefer roasted vegetables and a golden crust? Then confidently bake the pike-perch in the oven. Read on. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Remove seeds from the bell pepper, wash and slice into half-rings.
- 2
Step 2

Wash the broccoli, dry it, and separate into florets. The stem can be sliced into pieces.
- 3
Step 3

Line a baking sheet (or a steamer tray) with parchment paper. Place broccoli florets neatly in the center.
- 4
Step 4

Place the washed pike-perch fillet on top.
- 5
Step 5

Then place the sliced leek.
- 6
Step 6

Place the sweet pepper and thyme sprigs as the top layer. Fold the edges of the parchment paper up and over, like a candy wrapper. Leave the top slightly open (to allow steam to escape from the fish).
- 7
Step 7

Place the sweet pepper nearby—it can be used for decoration.
- 8
Step 8

Steam the dish for 20 minutes, or bake until cooked through (add olive oil to prevent the fish from drying out). Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Mix soy sauce, liquid honey, and olive oil. Pour the sauce over the fish 10 minutes after starting to cook (braise).
- 9
Step 9

Cut the sweet pepper and serve with fish.
