Description
This is quite a simple version,
Instructions

Step 1

1. First, prepare the fish. To make the pike-perch in Polish sauce tender when cooked at home, it's best to bake the fish in the oven. Start by washing the fillet and patting it dry. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place it on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Add a little dry white wine, then put it into a preheated oven and bake until done.

2. Meanwhile, start boiling an egg hard. Cool the cooked egg, peel it, and cut into small cubes. In some recipe variations, a poached egg may be used instead of a boiled one.

Step 3

3. Melt butter in a frying pan. For added flavor, you can add a little olive oil to the recipe for preparing zander in Polish sauce.

Step 4

4. Wash, dry, and finely chop fresh dill. The amount depends on your taste preferences.

Step 5

5. Add the egg and herbs to the melted butter, mix well, and remove from heat. Add a little salt and, if desired, a pinch of pepper. That's it—once the fish is ready, simply pour the sauce over it and serve.
