Baked pike-perch pieces in the oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To prepare zander baked in the oven in pieces, we'll need one large or two medium fish fillets, either fresh or frozen. Most importantly, remove all the bones so it's easy to eat. Use hard cheese, red sweet (bell) pepper, and as spices, I recommend adding nutmeg. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Remove the seeds from the pepper and cut it into fairly large pieces. Pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a frying pan and sauté the onion and pepper until soft.
- 3
Step 3

Grease the baking dish, place the pike-perch fillet skin-side down. Sprinkle with spices.
- 4
Step 4

Evenly spread the fried onion and pepper over the fillet.
- 5
Step 5

In a separate bowl, mix sour cream, cream, and finely chopped dill.
- 6
Step 6

Pour the sauce over the fish, spreading it evenly.
- 7
Step 7

Place the baking dish with fish in a preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake for about 25 minutes. When the sour cream sauce begins to simmer, continue baking for another 15 minutes, then remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Step 8

Return back to the oven until the cheese melts and turns golden.
- 9
Step 9

Let the ready pike-perch fillet, baked in the oven, cool slightly. Serve, garnished with herbs.
