
Steak with Citrus
Description
Nowadays, steaks are made from fish, pork, and other types of meat, but we will prepare a classic beef steak using a delicious citrus marinade. It's very simple to make, and thanks to the marinade, the meat turns out incredibly tasty, aromatic, and juicy. Steak is one of men's favorite dishes, but this citrus steak will be especially appreciated by women.

Prepare the marinade. To do this, mix soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and mustard in a dish.

Then add the juice from a whole orange and the juice from half a lemon.

Then add the minced garlic and mix everything again.

And finally, add finely chopped thyme or oregano. Mix everything well.

Wash the tenderloin, dry it, and cut into two thick steaks. Place them into a deep dish and pour in the marinade. Marinate for 1 hour at room temperature.

Then sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side over high heat in a mixture of olive and butter. When the steaks are almost done, add the half lemon to the pan.

Before serving, squeeze the juice from the roasted lemon over the steaks.
