Steak on a grill pan
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Nothing beats meat that's juicy, hearty, and without any excess. But such a simple dish requires skill. For cooking steak on a grill pan, it's best to use so-called marbled beef. Of course, it's not cheap. Additionally, the fillet and back portions are also suitable for steak. Don't use too much oil when frying. By the way, it's better to salt the meat after cooking—otherwise, it will release too much juice during frying and the meat may burn. Serve the steak with any side dish—vegetables, rice, potatoes, various sauces—according to your preference. Check out the recipe with photos. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

Wash the meat and dry it; the meat should not be wet.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the meat 3 cm thick. You can also do 3.5 cm.
- 3
Step 3

Brush both sides with olive oil.
- 4
Step 4

The frying pan should be well heated before frying.

Step 5

Steaks can be cooked to different levels of doneness. I like to cook mine to medium — when the meat is juicy, without blood, but well-seared. Cook such a steak for about 8–10 minutes, turning it to get a nice crust on both sides.
