Classic steak
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. If you're a dedicated meat lover, this recipe is for you. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I recommend using only fresh pork, not frozen, as the steak will taste better.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the meat into slices 1-1.5 cm thick.
- 3
Step 3

Prepare the marinade. Mix pepper, paprika, and mustard. Stir well.
- 4
Step 4

Brush the steaks with the resulting mixture, but do not add salt. Let the meat marinate for 5-10 minutes.

Step 5

Place the meat on the skillet; now you can season it with salt. The thing is, salt draws the meat's juices out, and we want to keep all the juices inside the meat. That's why salt should be added as late as possible, but of course, not to the finished dish. Also, brush the meat with vegetable oil on both sides; I recommend using olive oil, or you can use flaxseed oil. We won't be adding more oil, so I suggest using a non-stick skillet.

Step 6

Sear the meat over medium heat for 7–9 minutes. A beautiful golden-brown crust should form on the surface. Serve the steaks hot with fresh herbs and your favorite side dish. These steaks disappear from plates in seconds!
