Prepare the steaks; if they are frozen, thaw them naturally.

Place the steaks in a suitable dish and thoroughly rub with salt and pepper; let them sit for 15-20 minutes.

Next, peel the potatoes, cut them into small cubes with sides of 1 cm, and place them in water to remove excess starch.

Slice the lemon into fairly thick rounds and, in the meantime, preheat the oven to 185 degrees.

Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with foil, put a slice of lemon on top of each steak, and cover with foil. Seal the edges tightly to prevent any gaps and keep the salmon juice from leaking out. Bake for about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the potatoes. Be sure to season the potatoes well with salt and cook until golden brown for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

After 15 minutes, take the fish out of the oven and transfer it to the skillet with the potatoes. Place two new lemon slices on the fish (discard the old ones), pour the fish juices (from the foil) over the potatoes, and return everything to the oven for another 5–7 minutes. Then take it out, divide onto plates, and enjoy.
