Horse meat steak
Description
The recipe won't take much time. To prepare tender and juicy horse meat, you need to choose the meat properly. Only then can you get the perfect steak that melts in your mouth. 1. First, wash the meat and dry it with a paper towel. 2. Lightly season both sides with salt and pepper. You can use various spices when cooking horse meat steak, but to preserve the meat's natural flavor, it's best to keep it simple—just salt and pepper. 3. Drizzle a little vegetable oil on top. 4. Thoroughly preheat the skillet, greasing it with oil using a brush or paper towel. 5. Place the steak on the hot skillet. Sear for about 2–3 minutes without moving it, over high heat. 6. Then carefully flip and cook the other side for the same amount of time. 7. Place a piece of butter on top of the steak and transfer the skillet to a preheated oven. 8. Bake the horse meat steak at home to your desired doneness, periodically basting it with the meat juices that accumulate. Serve the dish hot, accompanied by a side dish, sauce, or fresh vegetables, as preferred.
