Shark steak in a pan
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Shark meat is perfectly edible and, if cooked properly, has a very interesting flavor. Many people are put off by the smell of shark, but this can be easily dealt with by soaking the shark meat in milk or salted water beforehand. For those brave enough to try shark meat, I recommend using this simple recipe to prepare a shark steak in a pan. The process is easy and quite quick. The steak will turn out delicious and juicy. Serve the dish warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Thaw shark steaks and soak them in water acidified with vinegar or lemon juice for about 1.5–2 hours, until the odor disappears.
- 2
Step 2

Then dry the steaks and remove the skin from them.
- 3
Step 3

Put the flour into a bowl and mix with salt and pepper. You can add fish spices. In another bowl, lightly beat the eggs until the whites and yolks are combined.
- 4
Step 4

Place a frying pan with vegetable oil on the stove and let it heat up. Dip each steak into the beaten eggs.
- 5
Step 5

Then coat in flour. You can make a double breading—after coating in flour, dip again in eggs, and then in flour.

Step 6

Place the breaded steaks onto a preheated skillet with oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until a golden crispy crust forms.
