
Old-fashioned kulich
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. There are countless recipes for Easter kulich, and every homemaker can share their own favorite one. Today I want to tell you. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Warm the milk, add the yeast and half of the flour. Mix and let it sit in a warm place for 1.5 hours.

Separate the yolks from the whites. Set aside two whites for the glaze. Beat the whites until foamy. Rub the yolks with sugar.

Add the melted butter, egg whites, egg yolks with sugar, salt, sour cream, and the remaining flour to the sponge.

Knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands.

Mix the raisins with a handful of flour and add to the dough.

Let it rise for another 1 - 1.5 hours.

Place the dough into greased molds, filling them one-third full. Let rise for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the kulich for an hour.
