Speculoos
Description
Homemade tea-time pastries. The mandatory spices to use in these cookies are cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, and cardamom. It is precisely thanks to this combination that the cookies have an excellent taste. The texture of the baked goods can be adjusted to your preference. If you like crispy cookies, roll the dough out to a thickness of 0.5 cm. A cookie thickness of around 1 cm will make them soft in the center but crispy at the edges. Choose according to your taste.
