
Asparagus in Batter
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Thaw the dough and rinse the asparagus. Cut the puff pastry into thin strips and wrap the asparagus spears. Place the appetizer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with milk or beaten egg, and sprinkle with salt and sesame seeds (or other spices to taste). Bake for 20 minutes at 190–200 degrees. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

Thaw the puff pastry on a surface dusted with flour. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Rinse the asparagus if needed and trim the ends. Cut the pastry into strips 1–1.5 cm wide. Each strip should be slightly longer than an asparagus spear.

Wrap a strip of dough around the asparagus. Repeat with all the asparagus and strips.

Place the asparagus in the pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving a little space on the sides, as it will expand.

**Beat the egg with a whisk in a bowl. Using a pastry brush or your hands, brush the asparagus in the batter with the egg. You can use water or milk.**
