Asparagus in the oven
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. The classic recipe for baking asparagus in the oven is so simple that even an inexperienced cook can easily manage it. Experienced cooks, meanwhile, will undoubtedly enjoy its new flavor nuances! Wash the asparagus, cut off the tough ends, and dry them on a towel. Slice the bacon into thin strips (if you bought pre-sliced bacon in a package—perfect, even less hassle!). In a separate bowl, mix butter with pressed garlic, salt, and black pepper. Wrap each asparagus spear with a strip of bacon, dip it into the seasoned oil, and place it on a preheated baking sheet. Put the baking sheet with asparagus into an oven preheated to 200°C (392°F) for 15 minutes. The bacon should become crispy while the asparagus inside remains tender. Check doneness easily with a toothpick, fork, or knife tip. Serve the asparagus hot, with white sauce and fresh vegetables. The dish is now ready to be served.
