Chinese-style spaghetti
Description
Chinese-style spaghetti "Bolognese" – a delicious and hearty dish with bright Eastern flavors. The fusion of Italian and Asian cuisines has created a true culinary masterpiece. This is neither the tomato-based "Bolognese" sauce as it should be in the original, nor the Chinese noodle dish «Yook Soong». It's something in between. Today I'll share it with you.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Peel the onion and garlic, finely chop. Thaw the peas.
- 2
Step 2
In a deep skillet, sauté the ground beef.

Step 3
Add the onion and garlic, sauté until the onion becomes translucent. Pour in the broth, soy sauce, and teriyaki sauce. Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- 4
Step 4
Then add green peas and black pepper. Simmer the dish for a couple of minutes. Dilute the starch with cold water and pour it into the sauce. Cook until thickened.

Step 5
While the sauce is cooking, boil the spaghetti according to the package instructions. When the sauce has thickened, add the spaghetti directly to the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes, allowing the spaghetti to absorb the sauce.

Step 6
If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the water in which the pasta was cooked. Transfer everything to a plate and serve.

Serve at the table.
