Step 1

1. Take a container of suitable size. Pour cream into it and bring to a boil. By adding milk to the cream, you can control the fat content of the product.
- 2
Step 2

2. Add sugar and vanillin to the egg yolks. Mix well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- 3
Step 3

3. Gradually add the hot cream to the egg yolks, stirring constantly. You should get a smooth, homogeneous liquid.
- 4
Step 4

4. Place the mixture on the stove and heat it over very low heat. Your liquid should gradually thicken, but do not let it boil. Cover the ice cream with plastic wrap. Cool and refrigerate for two hours.
- 5
Step 5

5. Beat the ice cream with a mixer until the mixture is smooth (about 3 minutes). Cover again with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for two hours.

Step 6

6. Beat the ice cream for another three minutes and place it in the freezer for four hours. You can keep it even longer, if desired. The longer you beat it, the more homogeneous the ice cream becomes (and the ice crystals disappear). The dessert is ready! Now you know how to make Soviet ice cream, which has no equal in the world.
