Description

These donuts are a chance to return to childhood, even if just for a few minutes, and feel like a child again. The dough should be soft and sticky to the hands. Do not add more flour than the recipe calls for, otherwise the donuts will turn out dense instead of airy. To make working with the dough easier, grease your hands with vegetable oil. To check whether the oil has reached the right temperature, drop a dry spaghetti strand into it; if bubbles form on it, the oil is ready. They can be served with tea or coffee.

    Prepare all necessary ingredients.

    Combine warm milk and warm water. Add sugar, yeast, and stir until smooth. Let it sit in a warm place for 5 minutes.

    Melt the butter. Add butter and egg to the milk mixture. Stir until smooth.

    Add the flour and knead a soft, slightly sticky dough.

    Cover and place in a warm spot to rise for 1 hour.

    Transfer the dough onto the table and divide it into equal pieces. Roll them into balls, place them on parchment paper. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for another 20 minutes.

    Make a hole in the middle of each ball with your fingers and gently stretch the dough outward.

    Heat the oil in a deep pan and lower the donuts.
