Tkemali sauce for winter storage
Description
Universal dressing for salads and hot dishes. Juicy sour plums are usually chosen for making this sauce; sometimes sweet plums are combined with sour cherry plums. Adjust the amount of chili pepper to your taste, although the classic version of the sauce is spicy. Herbs give the sauce a rich, aromatic flavor. You can use a ready-made herb mix or select your own preferred herbs. This recipe yields 650 ml of sauce.
