Description

Recipe for homemade sauce. In the end, my homemade tkemali sauce made from yellow plums turned out a bit thicker than intended. I think the reason is that I overcooked it on the stove—I didn't cook it on low heat, but rather on medium and high heat. Apparently, that's why it became so thick. However, it didn't affect the taste at all: the sauce turned out very delicious. I recommend serving it with meat or fish, or using it as a salad dressing.

    1. Wash the plums, place them in a saucepan, and pour water over them. Bring to a boil over low heat.

    2. Transfer the berries together with the liquid to a blender, add garlic and red pepper (without seeds). Blend everything into a puree, then return it to the saucepan, bring to a boil again, and add all the spices.
