The sauce takes just a few minutes to prepare. Here's a simple recipe. The finished sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.

    1. Wash the plums and remove the stems.

    2. Place it in water over high heat and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat to the minimum, cover with a lid, and simmer until soft (20-25 minutes).

    3. Strain through a sieve. The pits and pulp can be boiled with added water and sugar and consumed as a compote.
