Description
Homemade sauce recipe. Of course, this sauce is somewhat experimental, yet it has a very interesting flavor. Sweetish and spicy, it goes well with meat or chicken. You can adjust the amount of herbs and spices to your taste. Sugar can be omitted, as the sauce is sweet enough on its own. Good luck! Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.

We thoroughly wash the apricots and remove the pits. Transfer the flesh into a large pot and pour in water (almost to the top). Simmer over medium heat for 30-35 minutes, then transfer the mixture into a colander. Place the pot underneath the colander and use a potato masher to mash the apricots.

Chop all the herbs finely.

We also finely chop the garlic and pepper.

Mix the herbs, garlic, and pepper with the puree. Add sugar, salt, and ground pepper to taste. Spoon the sauce into jars, let it cool, then store in the refrigerator.
