Sour cream sauce with onion
Description
A delicious addition to everyday and festive dishes. For the sauce, the fat content of sour cream doesn't really matter, as it should be thickened with flour. I usually use 15-20% sour cream, but that's a matter of taste. Fry the onion over medium heat, but watch carefully to prevent burning—the sauce should be light with a delicate creamy hue and a similarly mild flavor. If you prefer a smooth sauce, blend the finished sauce with an immersion blender and reheat. Good luck! Perfect with pasta, meat, and vegetables.
