
Garlic sauce

One advantage of this garlic sauce recipe is that it uses only easily available ingredients that can be found in any grocery store, even a small one. Plus, you won't need to spend much time preparing it—the sauce comes together very quickly. Garlic sauce has a wonderful aroma and a spicy flavor that adds zest to any dish. This sauce makes an excellent addition to meat, fish, and vegetable dishes, as well as to garlic rolls and croutons. The finished sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.

1. Peel the garlic and crush it with a garlic press. If you don't have a garlic press, finely chop the garlic and then crush it with a spoon.

2. Rub the garlic with salt to form a homogeneous mixture.

3. Add vegetable oil in small portions. Be careful not to use too much oil per portion, otherwise you won't be able to achieve a smooth sauce consistency. Thoroughly rub each portion of oil (pour about 0.5 tablespoons at a time) into the garlic until a uniform mixture is obtained.

4. Gradually add cold boiled water to the resulting mixture (also by 0.5 tablespoon). Each portion of water must be thoroughly mixed with the garlic mass. Make sure the sauce does not become too runny.
