Cilantro Sauce

Description

Minimal ingredients — excellent result. Since it's not that easy to find basil in winter, and you don't want to give up a refreshing sauce, you can easily replace it with another herb. This sauce doesn't require Parmesan or garlic. Instead of pine nuts, use almonds, as they enhance the natural flavor of cilantro. The sauce is ready. Store it in the refrigerator and serve with dishes.

    1. Blanch the almonds to remove their skins: place them in boiling water for 1 minute, then drain in a colander and easily peel off the skins. Cut the almonds into small pieces and lightly sauté in a pan. Finely chop the onion and cilantro. Place the almonds, cilantro, onion, chili, and salt into the blender bowl.
