Description
This sweet sauce is very simple to prepare. Yet, its simplicity only enhances it. The key to its flavor lies in the addition of honey, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. I also recommend making this sauce with purely natural milk. It pairs perfectly with pasta, meat, and vegetables.

Step 1

Heat the oil and honey in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Set the heat to the lowest possible. Pour in the milk into the melted mixture and bring to a boil. Add the sifted flour into the boiling mixture.

Constantly stir and boil the mixture for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla and salt. Blend with a blender until all lumps disappear.
