For those who prefer a more piquant flavor, we recommend pressing peeled garlic cloves into the sauce and chilling the dish for 30 minutes to enhance the garlic aroma. The finished sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.

Transfer sour cream of any fat content into a deep container or the bowl of a food processor. Add salt and ground black pepper. Optionally, you can add a little of other seasonings, herbs, or spices.

Rinse the green onion stalks and chop them finely, then add the chopped pieces to a container. You can supplement or replace the green onion with green garlic.
