Sauce for rice with chicken
Description
Universal dressing for salads and hot dishes. The recipe for a sauce for rice with chicken is a fairly simple and very interesting way to serve a familiar dish. This sauce can be supplemented, if desired, with fresh or dried herbs, as well as various spices to taste. Perfectly suits pasta, meat, and vegetables.

Step 1

1. If you don't yet know how to make a sauce for rice with chicken, then this recipe is just for you. First, pour a little olive oil into a frying pan and heat it up. (I don't recommend using sunflower oil in this case.) Peel the onion and slice it into thin half-rings or small cubes. Add it to the pan and sauté until translucent. Peel and mince the garlic (you can press it using a garlic press), then add it to the pan and fry until golden brown.

2. Meanwhile, you can prepare the other ingredients. Olives need to be pitted (if necessary) and cut into small pieces. If corn kernels are not available, you can use small canned corn kernels. They should be cut into 3-4 pieces.

Step 3

3. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and remove the skin. You can substitute fresh tomatoes with canned tomatoes in their own juice. Add them to the skillet with the already sautéed onions and garlic.

Step 4

4. Place the olives and corn into the skillet, mix thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add your favorite spices if desired. Simmer over low heat for about 3–5 minutes. If the sauce is too thin, it may require more time. If the sauce for the chicken and rice turns out too thick, you can add a little water.

Step 5

5. In a separate skillet, sauté the chicken in a small amount of oil until cooked through. Then transfer it to the skillet with the sauce and simmer for about 3 minutes.

Step 6

6. Cook the rice in salted water until done. Serve it generously drizzled with sauce on top.
