Celery sauce
Description
The sauce takes just a few minutes to prepare. Celery is known as a "vegetable for weight loss," and rightly so—the substances it contains help normalize metabolism and thus contribute to losing excess weight. Celery sauce can be perfectly diet-friendly (simply boil, puree, and season with lemon juice), but I'd like to share with you a more calorie-rich version using butter and cream. The resulting sauce is wonderful, beautifully enhancing the flavor of roasted or boiled meat, poultry, and fish. Anyway, I hope this simple celery sauce recipe will appeal to those of you who aren't worried about your waistline ;). And for those who are concerned, you can still make it occasionally—just for holidays ;) Serve chilled or at room temperature.
