
Pear sauce for winter
Description

Prepare all the ingredients.

Wash the pears, peel them, and remove the cores. Slice them.

Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and finely grated ginger. Mix and let it sit for 10–15 minutes, allowing the pears to release their juice.

Transfer the pears to a saucepan with a thick bottom. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes until tender.

Blend the pears with a blender.

Strain the resulting mixture through a sieve for a smooth consistency. Simmer for another 5 minutes.

Transfer the resulting sauce into a clean sterilized jar. Seal the lid tightly. Turn the jar upside down, wrap it in a towel, and leave it until completely cooled.
