Chili, nut, and sweet pepper sauce
Description
Homemade sauce is easy and quick to prepare. Roast the bell pepper over the flame of a gas burner on high heat or on a grill. Hold and turn the pepper with tongs until it becomes charred all over. Alternatively, you can roast the pepper in the oven on a baking sheet, turning occasionally. Place the roasted pepper in a bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Let it sit for 15 minutes. Then peel off the skin and remove the seeds. Combine the pepper, vinegar, onion, tomato paste, garlic, nuts, and chili in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Transfer the sauce to a bowl. Serve with toasted baguette. The sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Bring to room temperature before serving. The sauce is ready. Store in the refrigerator and serve with dishes.
