Garlic and mayonnaise sauce
Description
A delicious addition to everyday and festive dishes. Garlic and mayonnaise sauce is universal. It can be used with various hot and cold dishes or as a marinade for chicken, for example. It's especially tasty with vegetable dishes. I particularly enjoy this sauce with boiled meat. You can prepare it right before serving and garnish with a sprig of fresh herbs or a pinch of paprika. If you prefer spicier sauces, add more garlic. I usually don't add salt or pepper to my garlic and mayonnaise sauce, but that's a matter of personal taste. So, how to make garlic and mayonnaise sauce? 1. Peel the garlic and press it using a garlic press. 2. Add a little salt and freshly ground pepper to the garlic. You can make the sauce without salt and pepper too—it will still taste delicious. It all depends on the flavor of the mayonnaise you're using. 3. Wash and finely chop fresh herbs—parsley or dill. You can also add finely chopped chili pepper or pickled cucumber. 4. Mix the garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs into the mayonnaise until smooth and well blended. The garlic and mayonnaise sauce is ready! Serve it in a sauce dish or a small bowl for easy dipping. Store in the refrigerator for no more than 2–3 days.
