Instructions

Step 1

We thoroughly wash the mushrooms and cut them into small pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Pour vegetable oil into a pan and sauté finely chopped onion in it until golden, then add the mushrooms.

Step 3

While the mushrooms are frying, we place another skillet on the stove and heat it. We pour the flour into the skillet and toast it without adding oil until it turns a pleasant golden color.

Step 4

Pour the flour into a saucepan and start gradually adding water to it, constantly stirring. In the end, we should get a mixture with the consistency of thin sour cream; season it with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Simmer the sauce for several minutes, then add the sautéed mushrooms and onions, cook for another 5 minutes, and then toss in the chopped herbs. Once the sauce thickens, remove it from the heat and serve with any dish of your choice—we, for example, had potato pancakes. Enjoy your meal!
