    1. Wash the onion and garlic, remove the skin, then finely chop. Rinse the thyme and shake dry. Do not chop it too finely. Wash the lemon and cut it in half. Set aside one half for other dishes, and grate the zest from the other half, then squeeze the lemon juice into a bowl.

    2. Take a sauté pan and pour vegetable oil into it. Turn on the stove and wait until the pan heats up well. Then melt the butter, add onion and garlic to the pan. Add thyme and one tablespoon of lemon zest. Sauté until the onion becomes golden, about five minutes.
