Sushi sauce
Description
Homemade sauce is easy and quick to prepare. If you have sesame oil, be sure to add 0.5–1 teaspoon to the sauce, as it is included in the original recipe. This time I did without it, but the sauce still turned out excellent. This is a perfect alternative to the usual soy sauce typically served with sushi. The sauce is ready. Store it in the refrigerator and serve with dishes.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press.
- 2
Step 2
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mix well. Adjust spiciness with chili sauce. I add just a few drops.
- 3
Step 3
Let the sauce sit for about 10 minutes, then stir again and serve with sushi. I prefer to spread it directly on sushi or rolls right away.

Step 4
The sauce turns out quite thick. But if you want to dip sushi in it, add a little more soy sauce to make the consistency thinner.
