Sauce
Description
A delicious addition to everyday and festive dishes. It is best to serve the sauce immediately after preparation, before it has time to separate. You can add various ground spices and seasonings to taste. Do not prepare the sauce in advance—use it right away to dress vegetable salads, Caesar salad, etc. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use olive, sunflower, flaxseed, corn oil, etc., according to your preference.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice from half of the lemon. Do not use the whole fruit, as the sauce may turn out too sour.
- 3
Step 3

Pour vegetable oil into a tall container for the blender.
- 4
Step 4

Add salt there as well. Optionally, you can also add other ground dried herbs, seasonings, or spices.
- 5
Step 5

Finally, add the lemon juice. If you don't have a fresh fruit on hand, substitute the freshly squeezed juice with diluted concentrated lemon juice.
- 6
Step 6

Blend everything with an immersion blender for about 2-3 minutes. The sauce won't thicken, but all the ingredients will combine and it will become lighter in color.
- 7
Step 7

Transfer it to a sauce boat and serve, or chill in the refrigerator, but remember that the sauce will separate again if stored for a long time.
