Caper sauce
Description
The sauce takes just a few minutes to prepare. If you are confident in the freshness and quality of store-bought eggs, feel free to make mayonnaise yourself; however, such sauce should be consumed immediately after preparation. Sauce made with store-bought mayonnaise keeps well and can be stored in the refrigerator for several days. The sauce is ready. Store in the refrigerator and serve with dishes.

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.

Step 2

In a deep small bowl, measure the desired amount of mayonnaise from your favorite brand and add capers. You can pour in a little caper brine for extra tanginess, but don't overdo it.

Step 3

Chop a large garlic clove, add a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper.
- 4
Step 4

Next, squeeze in the lemon juice and add grated Parmesan. I recommend adding a pinch of sugar to balance the flavor—it pairs perfectly with the other ingredients.
- 5
Step 5

Blend the contents of the bowl until smooth using an immersion blender.
- 6
Step 6

Transfer the sauce to a convenient container, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least an hour. Delicious homemade "Caesar" sauce with capers is ready!
