Bolognese Sauce

Description

The sauce is made from finely chopped vegetables, sautéed meat mince, and tomatoes. It can be stored in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for 3 days, or in the freezer for up to 3 months. Reheating the sauce before serving will take just a few minutes.

    1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the finely chopped vegetables in it.

    2. Add the minced meat and fry for 3 minutes.

    3. Pour water into a saucepan, bring to a boil, and simmer over low heat until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 10-15 minutes.

    4. Add the wine, bring to a boil, and simmer over low heat until reduced, about 10–15 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes in their own juice, add the bay leaf, season with salt and pepper to taste, and simmer over low heat until the sauce thickens, about 25 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti and call your loved ones to the table.
