
Sausages in dough without yeast
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Sausage in dough is an excellent sandwich alternative. Breakfast, snack, but not only. These sausages are very convenient to take with you on a trip, for a journey, or simply for a walk in the nearby park. They're also good to pack for children's school or to bring to work. Of course, the taste of this baked treat greatly depends on the quality of the sausages. The baking is done. Serve at the table.

Prepare the ingredients. All products should be at room temperature.

Sift the flour into a deep bowl and mix it with salt, sugar, and baking powder.

Add sour cream, egg, and vegetable oil.

Knead a soft, tender dough.

Divide the dough into 8 parts.

Roll each portion into balls. Then roll each ball between your hands into a thin strip. Place a sausage in the center of the strip.

Wrap the dough around the sausage. Slightly flatten and press the dough more firmly. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.

Place the sausages wrapped in dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. If desired, brush the tops with beaten egg or milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or coarse salt. But they will taste delicious even without this step.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15–20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven, transfer to a plate and cover with a towel for about 10 minutes.

Serve the sausages in pastry warm, with tomato juice or ketchup.
