Sausages in Toast Bread

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can find toaster bread that is slightly larger than the usual size—it is whiter and softer, easier to work with, and does not crumble or break. If you cannot find that kind, regular toaster bread from any bakery works perfectly well. This time I decided to try it with that bread, and it turned out very well!

Trim the edges of each slice. If the crumb starts to crumble, you can lightly spray it with water or milk—it will soften and stop crumbling.

Place a slice of cheese on each slice of bread.

Place half a sausage on the edge and roll the bread into a tube. Now spread mayonnaise on the bread edges you cut off at the beginning and “glue” them to the bread tube. It looks very nice, doesn’t it? And it will be even better once the hot dog is baked.

Bake the hot dogs in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. The finished hot dogs should be golden on the outside, and the cheese inside should melt.

Drizzle the ready-made hot dogs on toast bread with ketchup and sprinkle with chopped parsley or green onion.
