Coconut milk sorbet

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Coconut milk sorbet isn't too difficult to prepare, and what a delicious dessert it is, mmm... Such desserts are common in Eastern cuisine, although all the ingredients for coconut milk sorbet are readily available in any large Russian supermarket. Thanks to the exotic fruits, the dessert turns out wonderfully sophisticated, colorful, and fragrant, while coconut milk makes a fantastic base. In short, better to try it once. Serve chilled.

    First, soak the gelatin in cold water for about 5–6 minutes. Then take a saucepan, pour in the coconut milk and sugar, heat slightly, add the swollen gelatin, mix well, and remove from heat. Pour the entire mixture into a suitable container and place it in the freezer.

    Blend canned fruit with a small amount of syrup, lime zest, lime juice, and a little sugar in a blender.

    Blend until smooth and refrigerate for an hour.

    After about two hours, when it has hardened, remove the fruit and coconut mixture from the refrigerator. Using a spoon, start shaping the sorbet into portion-sized balls.

    Form coconut balls, fruit balls, sprinkle with finely chopped basil and chili pepper on top for garnish—and serve!
