
Roasted Cherry Sorbet

Wash the cherries and remove the pits.

Pour sugar and cherries onto a dry hot skillet.

Cook over high heat, stirring with a spatula so that each berry is coated with caramel syrup. Pour in the cherry liqueur and cook for another 5 minutes until the syrup thickens. If preparing for children, do not add alcohol! It will still be delicious.

Cool the fried cherries, transfer to a bowl, and blend with a mixer until smooth. Add the cream and blend again. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for 4 hours.
