Savory muffins with olives and sun-dried tomatoes
Description
Delicious baked treats for the whole family. This dish comes from Italian cuisine, where they bake more than just the well-known pizza :) These little muffins make an excellent substitute for bread at home-cooked lunches, and they're also perfect for parties and buffets. They're very convenient to take on picnics, to work, or to school. Although they are savory, they taste wonderful with a cup of tea or coffee—trust me. Serve them cooled down or slightly warm.

Step 1

1. Ingredients for making cupcakes. I used my own sun-dried tomatoes, which already contain herbs and garlic, so I didn't add basil and oregano.

Step 2

2. Pour milk and vegetable oil into a bowl, add salt, pepper, eggs, and grated cheese (on a fine or medium grater). Add dried herb seasonings.

Step 3

3. Add chopped olives and sun-dried tomatoes to the resulting mixture. You can use both green and black olives—it will be even more interesting.
