Quick Salted Milk Mushrooms

Description

This simple salted milk-cap mushroom recipe is quick and easy; of course it borders on pickling, but it cooks much faster, don’t you agree! If you want crunchier and saltier mushrooms, use half as much water when cooking and twice as much salt. Happy cooking! Serve at the table or store in the pantry.

    1. Carefully sort through the milk mushrooms and rinse them in cold water.

    2. Soak in cold water for several hours. Cut large ones in half.

    3. Drain the water, add fresh water (2 liters), add all the spices and salt, and place on the stove. Cook for 20 minutes.

    4. Fill clean jars with garlic, add the hot mushrooms, pour in the marinade and vinegar (50 ml per three-liter jar). Seal with lids and let cool. Once cooled, they are ready to serve!
