Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients. The original recipe uses mustard oil, but if you don't have it, use any vegetable oil.
- 2
Step 2

Dissolve salt, honey, and yeast in warm milk. Add egg, pour in oil, and mix.
- 3
Step 3

Sift the flour and add it to the dough in portions. Knead into a lump.
- 4
Step 4

Cover it with a cloth and let it sit in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 5
Step 5

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling: grate the sausage cheese on a coarse grater and finely chop the bacon into strips.
- 6
Step 6

Divide the risen dough into three parts, roll each into a sausage about 50 cm long. Flatten the first sausage with your fingers and place one-third of the filling on it.
- 7
Step 7

Enclose the filling inside the sausage. Do the same with the remaining strips.
- 8
Step 8

Braid three strands together and secure the end.
- 9
Step 9

Transfer the braid to parchment paper. Brush with glaze (milk + yolk + pinch of salt). Optionally, sprinkle with sesame or sunflower seeds. Let rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
- 11
Step 11

Let the braid cool down — then serve with tea. Enjoy!
