Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Cutlets have long become one of our national favorites, as no family can imagine their daily menu without these delicious meat treats. However, unfortunately, not everyone enjoys spending a lot of time at the stove cooking them. That's why I'm offering you a simple recipe for juicy oven-baked cutlets that will take much less time and effort. All you need to do is put them in the oven and go about your business—the taste will be amazing, incredibly tender, and the juiciness is preserved thanks to the use of potatoes and onions. And if you don't believe me, just try making these cutlets yourself and taste their wonderful flavor. My detailed recipe for juicy oven-baked cutlets will help you. The finished dish is ready to be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Grind the meat together with the onion and herbs through a meat grinder, add two beaten chicken eggs, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- 2
Step 2

Now thoroughly mix all the ingredients until smooth and slightly beat the meat mixture.
- 3
Step 3

Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater; this will help us make juicy patties with a rather unusual texture. Squeeze them slightly and add to the bowl with the minced meat.
- 4
Step 4

Mix the meat mixture thoroughly once again and add salt if necessary.
- 5
Step 5

With wet hands, form small round balls from the minced meat, press them on both sides, and place them on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.
- 6
Step 6

Now brush the top of the cutlets with vegetable oil or simply place a small piece of butter on each cutlet to make them juicier. Put the baking sheet into a preheated oven at 200 degrees and bake for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 180 and continue cooking for another 20 minutes. Our cutlets are ready, and we can proceed to taste them.
