
Scones with kefir and cottage cheese
Description
The pastry is prepared simply and quickly. When making it juicier, pay attention to the dough kneading. It should be soft, slightly sticky to the hands. Dust your hands and the work surface with flour while shaping. Also, it's important to consider the quality of the cottage cheese. Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Crack 1 egg into a bowl, add sugar, and stir with a fork.

Add kefir, soft butter, and salt. Stir.

Add the flour and leavening agent in portions. Knead a soft, pliable dough. Slight sticking to the hands is permissible.

Dust the dough with flour, wrap it in a plastic bag, and place it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

While the dough rests, make the filling. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar, egg white, a pinch of salt, flour, and vanilla. Mix.

After the allotted time, remove the dough from the refrigerator. Roll out a sheet 5–7 mm thick. Cut out circles with a diameter of 12–13 cm.
