Kiwi and Banana Smoothie
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Since the banana is sweet on its own, honey or sugar can be added to the drink after preparation, directly into cups or glasses. Spinach is optional, but thanks to this fresh green, the smoothie becomes more nutritious and can be served not only to adults but also to children. The main thing is to serve it not on an empty stomach, but as a dessert or a snack. The drink is ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the banana, slice it into rounds, and place the slices into the blender jar or a deep container if you're using an immersion blender instead of a jug blender.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the kiwi and rinse it in water. Slice it and add to the banana slices. You can add 1-2 fruits; this will make the drink's color more intense.
- 4
Step 4

Add granulated sugar or omit it if the banana is sweet. The smoothie is also well sweetened with floral honey, and you can add various syrups and toppings.
- 5
Step 5

Pour in yogurt of any fat content. If you don't have yogurt, substitute it with fresh kefir of any fat content, as kefir becomes more sour over time.
- 6
Step 6

Wash the spinach leaves, remove the stems, and tear them by hand into the blender bowl.
- 7
Step 7

Grind all ingredients in the bowl, using the appliance for 1-2 minutes. Use the pulse mode to ensure everything is properly ground.
- 8
Step 8

Pour the nutritious smoothie into glasses or cups, serve at the table with straws, and decorate the container walls with sliced kiwi or banana.
