Blackcurrant Five-Minute Jam
Description
A simple way to make preserves ahead of time. We’ll make five-minute blackcurrant jam at home. Heat water in a saucepan and dissolve the sugar in it, placing the pan in a water bath. Remove the syrup from the heat and add the berries; stir. Return the pan to the heat, bring to a boil, and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat again and add the remaining sugar. Stir until it dissolves completely. Seal the finished jam in jars. Store the jam in a dark, cool place. Good luck. Serve at the table or keep in the pantry.
