Sour Cream Cake in 15 Minutes!
Description
Homemade dessert for tea. Do you think it's impossible to make a sour cream cake in 15 minutes? You're wrong—it's absolutely possible. The only thing is, you'll need to let the cake sit for several hours to allow it to soak through. But after that, you won't need to do anything except hold yourself back from eating it too soon. This sour cream cake turns out incredibly delicious and tender—simply irresistible. I highly recommend you try making it too. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. For the dough, you can use low-fat sour cream, but for the cream I recommend using a richer one, at least 21% fat, so that it turns out especially delicious.
- 2
Step 2

Dissolve baking soda in sour cream, add sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
- 3
Step 3

Add the sifted flour in small portions.
- 4
Step 4

Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands.
- 5
Step 5

Divide the dough into 4 parts, one of which will be smaller than the others.
- 6
Step 6

Roll out each piece of dough thinly into a circle about 20-23 cm in diameter. Roll out the smaller piece of dough to a diameter of 16-18 cm.
- 7
Step 7

Place all 4 layers of dough onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Watch carefully to ensure the crusts do not burn.
- 8
Step 8

While the cake layers cool slightly, prepare a simple cream by whipping sour cream with sugar.
- 9
Step 9

Assemble the cake, spreading cream between each layer.
- 10
Step 10

Break the small cake into pieces and place on top. Let the cake sit for at least 2 hours so the layers soak up the moisture and soften.
- 11
Step 11

The sour cream cake is ready. )
